The Address Lookup allows you to search for entities based on specific address information. For example, use this lookup to search for all entities that have an active preferred home address in California, all entities that have a foreign address or all entities that live on Winter Street in Waltham, MA.

Note: If you are performing a template lookup, some of the fields described below may not appear on the form.
Data Fields:
Street |
The street of the entity you wish to look up; may be up to three lines long. |
Foreign |
The city, postal code and province or city and province of the foreign address you wish to look up. |
City |
The city of the entity that you wish to look up. |
State |
The state of the entity that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_states table (AD). |
County |
The county of the entity that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_county table (GA). |
Country |
The country of the entity that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_country table (AE). |
Preferred |
This field indicates that the address information that you wish to look up is either preferred or not-preferred. Hard-coded values include 'Preferred', 'Not Preferred', and 'ALL'. |
Addr. Control |
This field indicates the mail control for a particular address that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_mail_elig table (FM). |
Title |
The title of the entity that you wish to look up. This field should only be used when searching for business addresses. |
Employer |
The name of the employer that you wish to look up. This field should only be used when searching for business addresses. |
Type |
The address type that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_address_type table (AH). |
Status |
The status of the address that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_address_status table (AJ). |
Comment |
Free-text field to search for an entity based on an address comment. |
Start |
The start date for the address you wish to look up. |
Stop |
The stop date for the address you wish to look up. |
Mod Date |
The modified date of the address for the entity that you wish to look up. |
Zip Code |
The zip code of the entity that you wish to look up. |
Zip Suffix |
The suffix for the zip code of the entity you wish to look up. |
Care Of |
The party or place to which mail for the entity that you wish to look up is sent in lieu of the entity. |
Source |
The source that the address information that you wish to look up came from. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_addr_src table (FN). |
Change Source |
The source that the address information that has been changed that you wish to look up came from. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_change_source table (GU). |
Mail Returned |
This field allows you to specify whether you wish to look up an entity based on whether mail sent to the entity has been returned or not. Hard-coded values in this drop-down list include 'Mail Returned', 'Mail Not Returned', and 'ALL'. |
Responsible

The Advance Entity ID number of the person responsible for the address information that you wish to look up. |
Source ID |
The Advance entity ID number of the source that the address information came from. |
Tracer Date |
The date of the post office tracer for the entity that you wish to look up. |
Num Returned |
The number of mail pieces that have been returned for the entity that you wish to look up. |
Returned Date |
The date that the post office started returning mail for the entity that you wish to look up. |
Tax Receipt Address |
Indicates whether you wish to include Tax Receipt Address information in your search. Values include All, Yes and No. |
Address Code |
The site-specific 3-character value for the address for the entity you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against tms_address_code (PD). |
Current |
Indicates whether you wish to search for current addresses. Values include, All, Current, Past and None. |
